Welcome to the Discussion night: Conscientious Objection in South Korea!
Aims and expectations:
- To exchange the experience of conscientious objection movement in South Korea, a country of militarized society under the division in the Korean Peninsula.
- To share the achievements of CO movement by presenting the questions World Without War (WWW) has proposed to Korean society.
- To discuss, if possible, the challenges WWW now faces in terms of maintaining an antimilitaristic point of view regarding the current issues that probably encompass Finland and Korea, such as existing conscription with the civil service, gender-neutral conscription and the war in Ukraine.
